1. How can I book a car with Goa Drive Rentals?
You can book a car by calling us, messaging us on WhatsApp, or through our website booking form (if available). Booking is subject to vehicle availability and confirmation.
2. What documents do I need to bring when I come to pick up the rental vehicle?
You need to carry a valid driving licence and an Aadhaar card. We will take a photograph of these documents for verification. In some cases, we may request one original ID to be submitted temporarily. Digital documents from DigiLocker are also accepted.
3. What is the minimum age to rent a car?
The minimum age to rent a car is 19 years, and the driver must have at least 1 year of driving experience.
4. Can I book a car with Goa Drive Rentals if I have an international driving licence?
Yes. Customers holding an international driving licence may book a vehicle with Goa Drive Rentals, provided they also carry a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) and passport at the time of pickup.
5. What is the rental cycle?
The standard rental cycle for four-wheelers is from 9:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
6. Is there a kilometre limit on how much I can drive?
No. There is no kilometre limit. Customers may drive the vehicle without restriction within the state of Goa.
7. Are there any restrictions on where I can drive the vehicle?
You may drive the vehicle anywhere within Goa, but it must not be taken outside the state borders.
8. Is there a security deposit?
Yes. A refundable security deposit of ₹3,000 or ₹5,000 is required depending on the vehicle type. It is refunded after vehicle inspection.
9. What modes of payment are accepted?
We accept payments only through UPI, cash, and bank transfer. We do not accept debit card or credit card swipe payments.
10. What type of cars does Goa Drive Rentals offer for rent in Goa?
Goa Drive Rentals offers a wide range of well-maintained vehicles, including hatchbacks, sedans, compact SUVs, Thar, and premium cars, to suit different travel needs and budgets.
11. What is included in the rental price of the car?
The rental price includes the use of the vehicle for the agreed rental period.
12. Who is responsible for parking charges, tolls, and other road expenses?
The customer is responsible for all parking fees, toll charges, entry fees, traffic fines, and any other road-related expenses incurred during the rental period.
13. Am I responsible for any traffic or parking fines during my rental?
Yes. The customer is fully responsible for any traffic violations, parking fines, or legal penalties incurred during the rental period.
14. What happens if I return the car late?
If the vehicle is returned later than the agreed time, additional charges may apply depending on the delay. Significant delays may be treated as an extra rental day.
15. Do I have to return the vehicle at the same location where I picked it up?
Not necessarily. You may return the vehicle at a different location if you inform us in advance. Additional charges may apply based on the drop location.
16. Can I change the car during the rental period if I do not like the current vehicle?
Yes. A vehicle change is possible, subject to availability and approval by Goa Drive Rentals. Any difference in rental charges, if applicable, must be paid by the customer. The existing vehicle must be returned in proper condition before a replacement is provided.
17. What if I need to modify or cancel my booking?
You may request a modification or cancellation by contacting Goa Drive Rentals through our website, WhatsApp, or by phone. All changes and cancellations are subject to availability and depend on how early you inform us. Any applicable charges will be as per our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
18. If I return the car before the scheduled end time, will I get any refund?
If you return the vehicle earlier than planned, please inform us at least 3 hours in advance so we can arrange an earlier pickup, if possible. However, no refund or adjustment will be provided for the unused rental time.
19. What should I do if I am involved in an accident?
In case of an accident, please inform Goa Drive Rentals immediately. Do not leave the vehicle unattended and do not attempt any repairs on your own. We will guide you on the next steps and arrange assistance if required.
20. What if the car breaks down during my rental?
Please inform us immediately. We will arrange assistance or a replacement vehicle, subject to availability.
21. Is Goa Drive Rentals available 24/7?
Yes. Our support team is available 24/7. Customers can call us at any time if they face any issue or need assistance during their rental period.
22. What happens if I lose the car keys or documents?
The customer must inform Goa Drive Rentals immediately. Replacement costs and any related charges will be borne by the customer.
23. Can I extend my booking while the trip is ongoing?
Yes. You may request an extension subject to availability. Please contact us before your rental period ends to check availability and charges.
24. Is smoking or drinking allowed inside the car?
No. Smoking, drinking, or any activity that may damage or dirty the vehicle is not permitted inside the car.
